I am an active member of Business Professionals of America (BPA). My experiences so far has introduced me to the parliamentary process as well as has improved my communication skills.
I am also an active volunteer of my local library as a member of the Teen Library Council. This has reinforced my teamwork skills and has given me practice with marketing through helping spread the word about events and assisting the creation of flyers.
As a competitive chess player I have learned to strategize efficiently, critically think, and have gotten strong planning skills as it is required to perform well at the higher levels of chess.
